Electrostatic sublimation transfers
are created on an electrostatic printer using sublimation toners
with electrical charges to a special carrier paper. The image is
then sublimated onto the final substrate. This transfer method
offers full color images, yet is limited by resolution, dot
size, toner instability, and prohibitive cost of entry. Examples
of this technology include RasterGraphics and Xerox e-stat
platforms. |
