ACP Technologies - Corel PHOTO-PAINT


Corel Photo-PAINT Exercises Using the Effects menu \ Creative \ Plastic command	Creating Gold Metallic Text

1) Select the File menu / New
Size = Custom
Widith = 4
Height = 3
Resolution = 300 dpi
Click OK

2) Click the Reset button at the bottom of the Tool Box to set the Foreground Color to Black.

3) Select the Text tool
From the Property bar, choose any wide font such as Futura XBlk BT and size to 72 points
Click on the image window and type “ACP”





4) From the PHOTO-PAINT Effects menu, choose Texture \ Plastic

Set the Plastic dialog box to:

Highlight = 97
Depth = 5
Smoothness = 50
Light Direction = 90
Light Color = Sand
Click OK





5) From the PHOTO-PAINT Effects menu, choose Texture \ Plastic

Set the Plastic dialog box to:

Highlight = 97
Depth = 5
Smoothness = 50
Light Direction = 270
Light Color = Pale Yellow
Click OK
