Heat Pressing Info

 

Glow in the Dark Tiles

 

1) Preheat press to 400° and set to light pressure

2) Place a clean sheet of plain paper on the heat press table (optional)
3) Secure the transfer to the back of the tile with heat tape
4) Place tile face-up in heat press
5) Place a plain sheet of paper on top
6) Place Heat Conductive Rubber on top
7) Heat for 6-8 minutes adjusting time as necessary for best results (SubliJet XG8 inks - 5 minutes)
 

Please Note: 

- The above instructions are recommended for tiles up to 6x8

- 8x10 and larger tiles may require one or two minutes additional heat time - XG8 Black ink can be overheated, increase time only as needed

 
 

 
 
Tumbled StoneTiles
 
1) Preheat press to 400° and set to medium to heavy pressure
2) Place a clean sheet of plain paper on the heat press table (optional)

3) Secure the transfer to the back of the tile with heat tape
4) Place tile face-up in heat press
5) Place a plain sheet of paper on top
6) Place Heat Conductive Rubber on top
7) Heat for 6-8 minutes adjusting time as necessary for best results (SubliJet XG8 inks - 5 minutes)
 

Please Note: 

- The above instructions are recommended for tiles up to 6x8

- 8x10 and larger tiles may require one or two minutes additional heat time - XG8 Black ink can be overheated, increase time only as needed

- Tumbled Stone tiles may be heated face-down for an aged old world look

 

 
 
Glass Tiles
 
1) Preheat press to 400° and set to medium to heavy pressure
2) Print transfer - DO NOT REVERSE THE IMAGE!

3) Place a clean sheet of plain paper on the heat press table (optional)
4) Secure the transfer by wrapping it around the tile and taping it to the front of the tile with heat tape
5) Place tile on the press face-down – the back of the tile (with the transfer) will be face-up
6) Place a plain sheet of paper on top  (optional)
7) Place Heat Conductive Rubber on top  (optional)
8) Heat time with Heat Conductive Rubber - 8 minutes / without Heat Conductive Rubber – 6 minutes - (XG8 inks 5 minutes / without Heat Conductive Rubber – 3.5 minutes) adjusting time as necessary for best results.
 

Please Note: 

- Do not cool in water!
