Employee Spotlight Interview with Cheyanne Bay
In your own words, what is your role at ACP/Verticomm?
As a sales manager in Oklahoma, my role is to support and develop a sales team while helping grow strong relationships across the state.
How long have you been with ACP/Verticomm?
Since August of 2025.
Describe where you grew up and how it's special to you.
I grew up in Newkirk, OK. A town with one stop light and a tight knit community. It taught me the value of relationships, hard work, and showing up for people. In a place where everyone knows your name, I learned that reputation matters, that trust and accountability go a long way.
What are some of your favorite ways to spend the weekend?
In the summer, I enjoy going to the lake and playing golf. During the winter, my 3 daughters and I love taking weekend trips to Dallas to stay in fun hotels and go thrift shopping.
What's your taste in music like? Do you listen while you work?
I don't listen to music while I work but when I'm in the car I listen to 80's and 90's country.
Do you have any special talents or a hobby you'd like to try?
I am a Silversmith and make silver and turquoise jewelry. I would like to learn to hand engrave western scrolls when I get more free time.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation-so I could be everywhere I need to be and still make it home for dinner with my girls.
Where would you go on your dream vacation?
I want to go the The Master's golf tournament some day and also the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
What's your favorite part about being a parent?
I have 3 daughters. 21yr old, 12yr old, 5 yr old. My favorite part of being a mom to girls is seeing them grow into their true selves and teaching them to know their worth.
What do you like most about working at ACP?
The culture! The people and the trust. I get the freedom to lead, grow and am supported throughout. ACP is a company that truly believes every team member matters. The people we are, not just what we bring to the table.
Do you have a go-to productivity method?
I have to have everything written down and always tackling the hardest task or the one I'm most likely to avoid, first thing.
If you could become an expert on any topic in an instant, what would it be?
Psychology.
